Comments: Ummmmmm........need to include within the 100 worst books of all times the Gor series of
SF/fantasy. 30 plus books dealing with the subject of
slavery/bondage and how it applies to human sexuality in a fantasy world. It is so bad it should be
considered satire and/or campy. Sorry, but at best the subject
matter can be covered adequately in a novella, not 30 plus freakin' full length novels! Rumor has it the
author (name escapes me pseudonym anyway) is an english
prof at a well known college, and was dared to write a book so bad it wouldn't sell. 30 some odd novels
later it's still selling. Look it up.

Comments: These are my comments on the recent "sequel" to "Gone In 60 Seconds". I was pretty
disappointed in the new movie as I was holding it up to the
standards of the old one but expecting more from it. I figured Nicholas Cage was an excellent choice in
replacing the actor from the first movie who died making the
sequel. The original movie although a "B" movie held the audience riveted to the screen during the chase
as every time the cops thought they had him he would
somehow wriggle out and the chase would again be on. The newer version doesn't hold a candle to it's
predecessor. The chase scene was cut up and
overdramafied at best. Here we had every chance at an excellent movie what with the new technology we
could throw at a great idea but instead they got lazy and
relied on special effects, computer enhancement and a loud soundtrack. The new Eleanor sounds great,
looks nice for a Mustang and sets you up for a hairaising
chase event but lets you down with a mediocre one. The director relied on the fact that probably 90% of
the audience had never heard of the original Gone In 60
Seconds so they would not be disappointed in just another wild Nicholas Cage movie. It was very
disappointing to think what could have been a Great remake
ended up being an unsatisfying sequel.

Comments: I have just found this web site and it looks as if my long search for a good copy of the original
Gone in 60 Seconds may soon be sucessful. I've just
seen the new movie here in New Zealand and can tell you that it is definately not worth getting excited
about. It may have been about twenty years since I last saw
the original but the new movie is second rate by comparison( if my memory serves me correctly).

had a cameo role as the Long Beach dispatcher. It was
her 15 minutes but I'm very proud of her. Kristopher Bunting
