Comments: I was delighted to see Ulysses on the overrated list.
I don't know a single person who has been able to get through it.
By the way, under "Evil", where
is "I want to tell you", by O.J. Simpson? Regards, Jane

Comments: Hi there! Nice list, though some of the books were
pretty obscure. Just a thought: wanna add Moby Dick and Catcher in
the Rye to the overrrated books list? I've heard mixed reactions
about these, but I have to agree with my mom in saying that Catcher
in the Rye is really useless (entertaining, but not this
fantastic "classic") and Moby Dick is TOTALLY boring (except
for the last 50 pages of the 550-page book). I know about the
wonderful allusions blah blah but it's not THAT good as they say.
Thanks a lot and keep up the good work!

Comments: I strongly disagree with your addition of Willa Cather's Death Comes to the
Archbishop being included on your worst 100 novels list! Who is the
bonehead who included it? Cather was a wonderful writer whose works belong in the best 100 novels!

Comments: Terrific collection, and a nice response to the so-called "Top 100" books.
I teach English Literature at Cedar Catholic High School, and I plan on using
this list often! You made a serious omission on the "Overrated" listing--
"As I Lay Dying" by William "Look What I Got Away With" Faulkner is easily the biggest
load of bilge ever passed off as a "classic". Other than that, your list is great!
